iQFOIL 85 – The Junior & Youth Olympic Pathway Board

The iQFoil 85 is the official Junior and Youth board within the iQFoil Olympic windsurfing class, designed to deliver world-class racing performance from 5 to 35 knots using the same proven racing concept as the senior Olympic equipment. It offers young sailors a direct, seamless pathway into Olympic-class foil racing.

Built around the same design DNA as the iQFoil 95, the iQFoil 85 features reduced proportions to suit lighter riders, making it easier to control while retaining the speed, stability, and efficiency required for high-level racing. The board is perfectly balanced for both foil and fin racing, allowing Juniors and Youth riders to compete confidently across a wide range of conditions.

With a width of 85 cm, the board provides excellent stability for learning race techniques while remaining agile and responsive. Additional footstrap positions and reduced rail cutaways improve control, particularly when racing in fin mode, and help riders fine-tune their stance as they progress.

The iQFoil 85 is designed as a progression platform. Riders can start with the Junior foil set and a smaller sail, then transition into Youth racing by simply upgrading the sail size and front wing—without changing boards.
