The APEX HD is a new generation power wave sail, designed for riders who demand explosive jumping, wide wind range, and total control—even in the most extreme conditions. Ultra-light yet incredibly durable, the Apex HD delivers raw power without sacrificing agility, making it the ultimate choice for high-wind wave sailing and aggressive bump & jump sessions.

Developed as the perfect complement to the legendary Combat, the Apex builds on its proven DNA while adding extra low-end drive and enhanced acceleration. The result is a sail that gets you planing earlier, jumping higher, and riding more waves—while remaining smooth, balanced, and confidence-inspiring when fully powered.

Chosen by team riders for high-wind jumping and extreme conditions, the Apex HD is designed to feel deceptively light in the hands. Its refined outline, higher aspect ratio, and narrower head allow it to power up quickly in lighter wind while maintaining exceptional control at the top end. Whether sailing onshore, side-on, or side-off, the Apex delivers direct response both on the wave face and in the air.

The APEX HD construction features Power HD Technology in the foot and clew, using Ultra PE yarns aligned precisely along load paths. This delivers crisp response, maximum durability, and razor-sharp control. An Ultra-PE X-Ply window further enhances strength while keeping overall weight to a minimum—ideal for demanding wave environments.

To optimise performance across the entire size range, the Apex uses a hybrid batten configuration. Smaller sizes (3.6–4.7) feature a 4-batten layout for maximum manoeuvrability and lightness, while larger sizes (5.1–6.3) use 5 battens for added stability and control in stronger winds. Increased size spacing allows riders to cover a wider wind range with fewer sails, making travel and quiver management easier.

Replacing the Atlas in the range, the Apex is more agile, more user-friendly, and more responsive, feeling like a Combat “on steroids.” Instant power, explosive lift, and smooth wave handling combine to create a sail that inspires confidence to jump higher, ride harder, and push further.
