The Magic Move is the ultimate freemove board for riders who want effortless planing, thrilling speed and carving confidence in medium to high winds. Designed for freeriding and bump & jump blasting, it planes early, accelerates smoothly and carries speed through every jibe with ease.
Now in its third generation, the Magic Move has earned its reputation as the “Master of the Carve.” Targeting sporty riders in the 90–110 L range, it delivers a dynamic, lively ride with outstanding manoeuvrability. Whether you’re carving aggressive jibes, playing in small swell, or riding open-ocean bumps, the Magic Move feels fast, stable and incredibly fun. It even holds its own in reef and coastal wave conditions when the wind is on.
Positioned between freeride and Freestyle Wave boards, the Magic Move combines the best of both worlds. Compared to the Freestyle Wave, its wider tail and balanced volume distribution deliver earlier planing, better speed retention in lulls and more drive through planing manoeuvres. Compared to classic freeride boards, it feels looser, more responsive and far more at home in swell.
Refined shape details make the difference: a slightly longer and wider outline with a parallel mid-section ensures stability and effortless lift onto the plane. The innovative rail design adds speed and grip through the jibe, while the distinctive step rail in the tail allows a wide, powerful outline without sacrificing bite and control in tight turns. A flat scoop rocker boosts early planing and top speed, while the double concave V in the nose smooths out chop and keeps the ride comfortable.
With multiple footstrap options, a single-fin Powerbox setup and a fin designed for drive and manoeuvrability, the Magic Move can be tuned perfectly to your style and conditions.
