The X-Wing Performance marks the next step in Armstrong’s high-performance wing
evolution. Designed for riders pushing into faster, more efficient riding, it delivers refined
power, lighter handling, and a composed, intuitive feel.

Positioned above the XPS in the range, it offers a more efficient, higher aspect platform
that excels when riding powered, generating speed, glide, and control without  compromising the signature Armstrong handling.

forward drive with smooth, controlled power delivery. It generates speed efficiently while
maintaining a predictable, composed feel, giving riders the confidence to ride harder
and faster.

Rather than aggressive or overpowering, the power builds progressively, creating a
natural connection between rider and wing.

At under 2 kg, the X Wing feels noticeably lighter in hand, particularly in larger sizes
where weight savings make the biggest difference.

The advanced material construction balances lightweight handling with long term
durability, delivering a wing that feels responsive in motion while remaining strong under
load.

The higher aspect design and refined airframe improve glide, reduce drag, and make
generating apparent wind more effortless. Transitions feel smoother, manoeuvres feel
lighter, and the wing maintains speed with less input.

In the 12 to 18 knot range, the efficiency really comes to life, offering a fast, fluid riding
experience with minimal effort.

Stable, Controlled Power
The canopy is engineered to handle increased loads with minimal distortion, delivering
clean release and consistent drive. While the higher aspect ratio enhances efficiency, it also brings a more reactive feel at higher speeds. Riders looking for maximum stability in strong wind may still prefer the XPS MKII, while the X-Wing excels when efficiency and performance are the priority.

Visibility and Setup
Four compact windows improve visibility into blind spots, adding confidence in busy
conditions. 

Following the Dyna Link system, the X-Wing is offered in a boom only configuration,
allowing riders to customise their setup.

Sitting above the XPS in the range, the X-Wing Performance is built for riders prioritising
speed, efficiency, and refined power delivery.
