Elite Baseplate – Durable, Secure & Easy to Maintain

The Elite Baseplate is designed to deliver maximum reliability, durability and ease of use for demanding windsurf sessions. Building on the strength of the HD model, it introduces enhanced safety features and a more user-friendly design, giving riders complete confidence on the water.

At its core is a premium TPU tendon, which can be easily removed and replaced by hand. This allows you to inspect the tendon at any time, wherever you are, helping prevent unexpected failures and ensuring your setup remains safe and reliable.

The tendon pins are secured with POK engineering plastic caps that snap firmly into place. Once the baseplate is connected to the board or mast extension, these caps cannot move, providing an extra level of security during use.

For added strength, the stainless steel components create a continuous structural link from the T-nut to the extension. Even if plastic parts show signs of wear over time, the metal core ensures the connection remains solid and dependable.

The U-Pin top section is machined from a single piece of stainless steel, providing long-term durability and a strong, reliable interface with your mast extension.

Moulded from rugged POK engineering plastic, the baseplate retains an ergonomic design that is easy to unscrew, even after heavy use or long sessions in the water. A sliding pin mechanism automatically locks the joint securely into place, while a sand-resistant push button allows quick release when needed. This makes it easy to disconnect the joint while leaving the base attached to the board for convenient transport and storage.

The deck disk, also made from durable POK plastic, features an EVA layer and guiding knob to improve grip and positioning on the board.

For additional peace of mind, both the upper and lower sections of the baseplate are connected by a Spectra safety rope, capable of withstanding up to 650 kg of breaking load, providing a reliable backup in extreme situations.
